What does it cost?Entry is just $15 per person plus GST.
-
Do entrants need a smart watch or phone to track steps? No, entrants can enter time spend walking or running rather than actual steps counted on a device, however we find the experience is better if they can track their daily steps so for employees that do not have a phone with a step counter or an existing device to track their daily steps, we can supply Pedometers for your people that require them - please contact us to discuss.
-
What size are Teams?Teams can be made up of 4, 5 or 6 employees (including the Team Manager who must take part in the event with the team)
-
How long does the Challenge run for?The Challenge length is set to your requirements, we find most clients run it for between 5 and 8 weeks to maximise engagement.
-
Are there any technology requirements? No, we just need you to provide employees access to the Challenge site and whitelist our email address so they can receive their invitations and the weekly challenge update.
-
What sort of uptake do you normally get?It depends on the size of the company and the extend of promotion, often for smaller companies we get most staff involved, for much larger companies spread across multiple locations if may be 30 – 40% of all staff.
-
Can we have teams from locations outside Australia?Yes, we have often had companies participate with staff from different countries.
-
How do Teams register? We provide you promotional material and employees self organise into teams of 4, 5 or 6 and decide who will be the Team Manager. The Team Manager then uses the log in provided on your promotional material and registers the team – invites are then sent to team members.
-
How much activity do entrants have to do?It’s the team average that moves the team and the team daily average target is 12,500 points, this is equivalent to just over 10,000 steps and also tracking some healthy behaviours like water intake. We find most teams achieve this through a combination or more active and less active members. For larger entrant numbers we can also split teams between an Open and Advanced Division, this gives the more active teams a more challenging target.
-
How often do entrants need to enter data?We encourage entrants to enter data daily or at least every second day, it only takes a moment and keeps engagement high and progress steady.
-
What do entrants receive?Included in the entry fee is the provision of a stainless steel double walled insulated vacuum flask with built-in temperature sensor for each entrant to keep them hydrated on their virtual adventure! These are excellent quality and retail at over $30 and we will deliver to one location for you to distribute internally to your people (we can arrange to split the delivery if you are happy to pay the additional P&P costs).
